Called to Obedience is a discipleship ministry that provides training and resources designed to encourage believers to develop a greater love for God and equip them to apply the gospel in their daily lives and relationships.
Called to Obedience is a process within the context of an intimate discipling relationship which utilizes a combination of personal Bible studies, lessons and practical projects to assist individuals in experiencing the reality of God and His resources in their daily lives. As disciples implement the life changing principles of obedience, they are encouraged to pass on what they have learned and experienced with others in similar discipling relationships.

Every born-again believer in Jesus has been given one or more Spiritual Gift (1 Corinthians 12:7). This is a supernatural enabling from our Heavenly Father and differs from our talents and natural abilities which come from our physical parents.
There are three major ways that a knowledge of what one’s spiritual gifts are: the greatest is to zero in on what part of serving the Lord and his body really excites you—what are you passionate about? A lesser way is to note what you hear others saying about the things you’re already doing. If there is a pattern in the comments from others about how well you do a particular thing or of the positive effects of your actions, that might be a clue that you’re exercising a spiritual gift in that area. A third way is to take a Spiritual Gifts Survey. We use one created by Dr. Elmer Towns found here.
As you’re seeking an avenue of service by taking these steps, be sure to discuss the results with a pastor or mentor.
